Driven by policies, LED movie screens have rapidly been implemented and applied across the country. According to incomplete statistics from LEDinside, as of December 30, 2024, the number of newly added LED cinemas in China has reached 42.
Entering 2025, LED movie screen technology and applications will continue to expand. Recently, Zhongying Guangfeng VLED LED movie screens and Zhongying Technology CINITY LED cinemas have been put into use, further promoting the development of this field.
Zhongying Guangfeng VLED LED movie screen landed in Hefei and Wenzhou
On January 14, the China Film Guangfeng official account announced that the first 4K 20 meter VLED LED theater in East China was officially launched in Hefei Platinum Elephant Cinema (in77 Dark Horse Animation VLED Store) and a lighting ceremony was held recently.
At the event, cinema investors Liangliangzhong Culture and Zhongying Guangfeng signed a strategic cooperation agreement for VLED LED movie screens, planning to deploy more VLED LED cinemas in the future.
Previously, on January 9th, the first VLED LED movie screen in southern Zhejiang was successfully lit up in Hall 2 of the European City branch of Wenzhou Film White Deer Cinema. On the day of the lighting ceremony, the Wenzhou Yandang Cinema Line and Zhongying Guangfeng held a strategic signing ceremony simultaneously, deepening cooperation and jointly promoting the construction of VLED cinemas.
At present, the VLED product family of Zhongying Guangfeng has basically achieved coverage of 8 meters, 10 meters, 14 meters, 16 meters, and 20 meters. VLED LED movie screens have been installed in more than 20 cinemas in China.
China Film Technology's CINITY LED cinema has landed in Wuxi
On January 11th, Wuxi Zhongying Jialai CINITY LED Cinema Yueshang Aolai Branch officially opened. The cinema has a total of 9 theaters, including the first China Film Technology CINITY LED theater in Wuxi area.
CINITY LED is an LED movie screen product jointly developed by China Film Technology and Alto Electronics. This screen is the first LED movie screen to pass the international standard IEC62471 blue light detection, supporting 4K resolution and 120 frame high format playback. Its system complies with the DCI-P3 color gamut standard, with a maximum brightness of 87fL in 2D mode and a maximum brightness of 17fL for 3D monocular projection.
It is reported that on January 2nd of this year, China Film Technology also announced that after the establishment of the Beijing China Film CINITY LED Plate Making Center, the company has established its first LED plate making center overseas - the CINITY LED Plate Making Center located in Los Angeles, and has fully invested in the production of LED exclusive versions for Hollywood films.
