Recently, high-performance racing simulator company AccuSim has established a technical partnership with British LED display manufacturer Bendac. Both parties will focus on developing AccuVision LED display screens, a scalable and cost-effective LED display system suitable for professional simulators.
In the past, high cost was a major obstacle to the application of LED displays in simulators. Through this collaboration, Bendac and AccuSim have jointly designed a customized solution to meet the unique performance and cost requirements of simulator applications.
AccuSim stated that AccuVision LED is an industry first product that provides superior display performance compared to existing projection systems, at a comparable cost, and also has multiple functional advantages.
AccuVision LED overcomes many challenges and limitations of projection systems, utilizing LED technology to provide an immersive experience. The display screen has a low latency of 16.6 milliseconds and a high refresh rate, with pixel density comparable to high-end projection systems, and does not require cross projection correction, pixel fusion processing, or consideration of ceiling height for projector installation.
In addition, AccuVision LED also reduces the number of required image generators. AccuVision LED uses high-quality COB LED panels, providing excellent contrast and pure black effects, making it perform better than projection systems at night and in endurance races with large light changes. These LEDs also provide realistic color rendering, further enhancing immersion. LED display screens also reduce eye fatigue caused by simulator operators focusing on high brightness screens for long periods of time.
AccuSim and Bendac also plan to provide ambient lighting to achieve realistic lighting effects. By placing light panels above, below, and on both sides of the main display screen, realistic light levels and tones can be created in the simulator cockpit.
AccuVision LED is a compact and modular solution that is easy to disassemble, transport, reconfigure, upgrade, and expand to meet user needs. The first AccuVision LED display is currently on display at AccuSim's demonstration facility in Oxfordshire.
According to the data, AccuSim focuses on high-performance simulators for professional racing applications. The company is committed to redefining the simulator market through innovative and cost-effective solutions, thereby enhancing vehicle development and driver training. Its first product, Trident Genesis, will be released in 2025, bringing significant improvements in accuracy, accessibility, and security.
Bendac focuses on providing comprehensive one-stop LED solutions, with a wide range of LED display products suitable for various applications and environments. Bendac's product spacing covers P0.4 P0.9、P1.9、P2.5、P8。
